DROP-OFF and Camper Registration will be between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday at the main entrance of Towers. Parents can feel free to visit the rooms before leaving, if they wish. No bed linens need to be brought as they will be provided, but it is suggested to bring a swimsuit/towel, a little bit of money, personal items (such as toothpaste, toothbrush, etc.).

PICK-UP will be around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday in Room 209 of the Mineral Resources Building, where we will hold an awards ceremony.

Directions to Evansdale Recreational Complex(Towers) for DROP-OFF:

From I-79:

  1. Exit I-79 at Exit 155 (Star City).
  2. Stay in right lane and follow road through the traffic light as it curves to the right by Sheetz convenience store.
  3. Cross over the Star City bridge.
  4. At the traffic light at the top of the hill by the WVU Coliseum, turn left on to Rt. 705 east.
  5. At the second traffic light (just past Kroger grocery store), turn right on to University Avenue.
  6. At next traffic light, turn right on to Evansdale Drive.
  7. Drive one block to Bennett, Lyon, Braxton, and Brooke Towers.

From I-68:

  1. Exit I-68 at exit 7 (Pierpont Road).
  2. After passing through the first traffic light (Exxon on left; shopping center on right) move to left lane.
  3. At 2nd traffic light (bottom of hill) turn left on to Rt. 119 South.
  4. Stay in right lane and continue through traffic light at the top of the hill (Back Bay Restaurant is on right; Morgantown Municipal Airport is on left).
  5. At next traffic light, turn right on to Rt. 705 west.
  6. Continue through next four traffic lights moving into left lane.
  7. At fifth traffic light turn left on to Van Voohris Road (at intersection just past Hardees on right; BB&T bank on corner).
  8. Continue on this road to second traffic light (yellow Copy Center sign on left corner).
  9. Turn left at this traffic light on to University Avenue.
  10. At next traffic light, turn right on to Evansdale Drive.
  11. Drive one block to Bennett, Lyon, Braxton, and Brooke Towers.

Alternate I-68 Route:

  1. Travel I-68 West until it intersects I-79.
  2. Travel I-79 North until the Star City exit (Exit 155).
  3. Follow the directions given above for I-79.

 

Directions to Mineral Resources Building(MRB) for PICK-UP:

From I-79:

  1. Take the Star City exit to get off of I-79 (Exit 155).
  2. Follow the road as it merges with US19 / WV Route 7. Cross the Star City Bridge which crosses the Monongahela River.
  3. Go through the first light after the bridge and drive up the hill towards the WVU Coliseum which will be on your right.
  4. Pass through the stop light at the Coliseum and get in the left turning lane for the next stop light.
  5. Turn left towards the WVU Creative Arts Center and go up the hill.
  6. After passing the WVU Creative Arts Center, stay on the windy road. The Mineral Resources Building is the first on the left.

From I-68:

  1. Take the Pierpont exit off of I68 (Exit 7).
  2. At the base of the four-lane road is a stop light, get in the left turning lane.
  3. Travel up the hill to the next stop light. Go straight through this stop light. The Morgantown Airport will be on your left at this stop light.
  4. Drive through the Mileground to the next stop light where you will turn right. This will be Hwy 705.
  5. Travel on 705 through four stop lights. At the fifth stop light, turn left on to Van Voorhis Road. BB&T Bank will be on your right at this stop light.
  6. Follow Van Voorhis Road until it merges with Patteson Drive. You should be able to see the WVU Coliseum on the far horizon.
  7. Stay on Patteson Drive until you come to the stop light at the WVU Coliseum. Turn left at this light.
  8. Stay in the left lane and turn left at the next light.
  9. After passing the WVU Creative Arts Center, stay on the windy road. The Mineral Resources Building is the first on the left

Alternate I-68 Route:

  1. Travel I68-West until it intersects I79.
  2. Travel I79-North until the Star City exit (Exit 155).
  3. Follow the directions given above for I79.
