Our Mission

The mission of the West Virginia LTAP is to foster a safe and efficient transportation system which enhances the economic development of West Virginia by improving skills and increasing knowledge of the transportation workforce and decision makers.

  • Work Zone Safety App

    A new Work Zone Safety app developed by ATSSA has been recently released and is available for FREE.

     

    The app provides quick access to useful field guides and has a calculation tool to help develop a traffic control plan.

  • 2015 Snow and Ice Control Workshop

    Register now! This year's Snow & Ice Control Workshop will be held on September 29th in Summersville, WV at the Summersville Arena & Conference Center. For more information, visit the

  • Principles of Paving Training - September 30

    The WV LTAP is hosting a full-day Principles of Paving class on Wednesday September 30, 2015 from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM in Parkersburg, WV at the WVDOH-D3 Headquarters. Click here for more information.

  • Unpaved & Gravel Roads: Common Maintenance Practices Training - October 1

    The WV LTAP is hosting a half-day Unpaved and Gravel Roads: Common Maintenance Practices class on Thursday, October 1 from 8:00 AM to noon in Moorefield, WV at the South Branch Inn. Click here for more information.

    Roadway Safety Plus - October 8

    WV LTAP is partnering with the

    PA LTAP and ARTBA to offer two safety training courses at locations in Wheeling and across Pennsylvania. The Wheeling classes will be October 8th.
