The Student Chapter of SME participated the Annual Meeting of SME in Orlando, Florida on March 7-12, 1998 during the Spring Break of WVU. Prior to the Meeting the students and faculty of Mining Engineering Department, WVU visited a phosphate mining operation and phosphate processing plant, and Florida Phosphate Research Institute (FIPR) at Bartow, Florida. |
